UNCONQUERED GAMES
The brothers of Delta Tau Delta, in partnership with College Veterans Association, are proud to present our new philanthropy, the Unconquered Games. The games will consist of multiple tournament style sports that will pit teams of FSU students against each other in competition for the grand prize. The goal of our organization is to create a philanthropy that is unlike any other at Florida State. Our goal is to reach $50,000 along with sponsoring eight people with physical disabilities to have an all-inclusive vacation to the park that we sponsor, William J. Rish Park. The individuals that will be selected will include four wounded warriors, two kids from the greater Tallahassee area along with two FSU students. Their vacation would cover their gas, groceries and boarding fees at the park. For many, this will be a once in a lifetime vacation to a place where they can really enjoy all that Florida beaches have to offer. The William J. Rish Park is one of four parks on the east coast that is fully handicap accessible. Some of the amenities that the park has to offer include a pool with a ramp that goes all the way in to the water, and wheelchairs that are capable of crossing the sand along with cabins that are fully furnished. This allows for families with disabled members to experience a beach vacation that they might otherwise never been able to enjoy.
