Favorite FDOA Program...

“The focus of the ALLOUT program is to get people into nature with a since of adventure. That is the kind of experience I like to have.”

When Kevin found FDOA in 2019, he was searching for a way to apply his marketing and communication skills to “something that felt meaningful.” He said finding FDOA was “divine timing” because “the past year has been tumultuous, and my digital marketing skills have been put to use by FDOA to continue to fulfill their mission.”

Outside of FDOA, Kevin owns a marketing agency, KL Taylor Marking (kltaylormarketing.com). This year, he has been working to help multiple other non-profits expand their mission to the virtual world. He also founded an interfaith ministry (JourneyFountain.org) that has exciting things coming up in 2021 and beyond. In his spare time, Kevin enjoys spending time in nature with his girlfriend and two dogs, Ariel and Delaney. He likes listening to instrumental music of all genres, especially electronic and “new age” music. He enjoys travelling and hopes to make it to Eastern Europe one day.

To Kevin, inclusion means welcoming everyone. He encourages people to not just accept people, but to welcome them with open arms. Kevin says his perfect world would be one in which “each of us felt connected, not only to each other but to nature, the universe as a whole, and perhaps most importantly to ourselves.” Although Kevin has not experienced all of FDOA’s programs due to the pandemic, his favorite program is ALLOUT. He said, “The focus of the ALLOUT program is to get people into nature with a since of adventure. That is the kind of experience I like to have.”

If Kevin could give one piece of advice to the world, it would be for each person to focus on his/her own energy, thoughts, and consciousness. He said, “Taking responsibility for our own thoughts and actions is the most effective way to not only improve our own life but the world as a whole.” While Kevin has only been involved with FDOA since September 2019, he is a vital asset to the team, and FDOA is fortunate to have him.
